[REVIEW] 2in1 Tablet PC (Windows 10 + Android 5.1 ) Intel Z8350 4GB/64GB : CHUWI Hi 10 Plus

Hi, I want to introduce you my new 2in1 Tablet PC : CHUWI Hi 10 Plus. It is a cheap 2in1 Tablet with good specs like Intel Z8350 processor, 4GB RAM, 64GB ROM, 10.8" IPS Screen, Dual OS (Windows 10 + Android 5.1), magnetic keyboard case etc... I decided to get this tablet because of its good price with good specs. For daily usage like watching videos, surfing the web and social media, playıng games etc. Androıd is a good OS because of its ease of use, low power consumption, many free apps opportunity etc. But for work purposes, when multitasking needed Android is not good for me, I prefer windows for work purposes. I want a windows devıce that I can carry everywhere. Because my laptop is a bit heavy, it is better to get a windows tablet. But of course tablets can't give performance like powerful laptops but with Intel Z8350 and 4GB RAM 64GB ROM with SD card support it is enough for a portable work device. I can easily surf on the web with multiple tabs on chrome and prepare a document on office word. As a side note, it is possible to run .exe applications because full windows is installed, not mobile version of windows. But there is tablet mode option which makes windows easier to use with touch screen.

I will update this artice to explain my experiences when using the tablet. I have used it time by time and my first impressions are very good. I like it! I added benchmark results at the bottom. Also I'm thinking about testing some games performance may be, If I can find enough time.

Charging takes long time with included 5V 3A charger, because battery is huge it is acceptable I think

Detailed Review Article:

If we look at specs of the Firefly 8S, we see that it has Ambarella A12S75 Chipset and IMX117 Sensor that makes possible to record real 4K 30FPS videos. I'm saying real 4K because there are many cheap action cams like Eken H9 but they are not really capable of 4K recording. They are making some software mods and interpolations to make a 4K video. Some of them can only make low FPS in 4K like 15FPS or there are some 4K cameras which record at 3840x2160 but they have 4MP sensors which are not capable to offer 3840x2160 video normally. Even there are some other tricks I read on somewhere like some china brands writing Sony or Ambrella in specs but not using them really. So you need to be careful and watch review and test videos before buying a china brand action cam. They are many really good quality china brand devices with very good prices, so not all of them are bad. But you need to make a good research before buying. If you want real 4K, I recommend Firefly 8S in this price range because I made a research and at the end I decided to get this one (of course there may be better alternatives released in the future or may be there is but I couldn't found). I compared (by reading reviews on the web) with other cams with same/similar specs like Thieye T5e which is said that quality is not good as Firefly 8S and other SJCAM SJ7 Star, Yi 4K which are said very similar video quality but they are more expensive than Firefly 8S. So after considering some other things I decided for this price Firefly 8S seems the best device for me because I want no distortion narrow angle videos. So I get 90 FOV no distortion version. You can see difference between 90FOV and 170FOV versions here (right one is 90FOV version, its lens is bigger) and photos taken by them compared here these are taken from elproducente.com because I have only 90FOV version.

My First Impressions:
I think I made a good decision by selecting this camera because it has a good price/performance ratio. Most important side of this camera for me is it has 90 FOV No distortion version. I don't like wide angle distorted videos, so this is a good point for me. If you want wide angle there is 170 FOV version available also. Note that the 90 FOV version comes with a sun shade for the lens. The design is simple like many other action cams except there is a mirror in the front which is a good idea, I think.  The camera surface is rubberized which provides a good grip. Buttons are backlighted, screen is bright and brightness is adjustable. I want to mention that it comes with many accessories including waterproof case like many other china action cams.

Video Quality
This camera has IMX117 sensor and Ambarella A12S75 chipset. This hardware makes it capable of recording real 4K with real 30fps as I talked about above. It also capable 240FPS in 720P and 120FPS in 1080P . Video quality is very good for this price, I think. But it is not very good in low light (you can look at this example video by  Pevly Contributors: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=74jIaCmIY8M ) Note that 30FPS is actually 29.97 FPS, similar to GoPro and Xiaomi YI Action Camera.

Recording Format: videos are recorded in .mp4 files, .h264 codec

Gyro Sensor provides electronic image stabilisation which is only available up to 1080p 60fps. It can turned off if needed.

Dual File mode: It will record two files, one in high and one in low resolution.

Conclusion
I think it has a very good price (especially with gearbests discount codes) for a real 4K 30FPS capable camera, of course in the future better alternatives may be released, but I couldn't found better alternative for this price when I get this. It has many positive sides like, IMX117 image sensor, Ambarella A12S75 chipset, comes with many accessories, it has 90FOV no distortion version which is important for me, wifi and bluetooth support... etc. If you have a limited budget and want best performance for this price level, I recommend this camera. Of course there may be better alternatives released in the future, so I recommend make a research before buying. Here I listed PROS and CONS:

+ Very good price for a real 4K 30FPS capable camera (of course in the future better alternatives may be released, but I couldn't found better alternative for this price when I get this )

About Connectivity
It uses wifi to connect via App (NEW Firefly App for iOS and Android available). And bluetooth feature is not to connect phone, it is for bluetooth remote which is sold seperately. Firefly 8S has a mini USB port which supports an external microphone and also A/V output and there is also a micro HDMI Port.

[REVIEW] CHEAP SMART GPS Waypoint DRONE UNDER 80$ NOW! (Flash Sale): HUBSAN X4 STAR H507A

Hello, this is the cheapest drone I seen ever that has functions GPS, Waypoint (Autonomus), WiFi FPV, Follow Me, Point of Interest, Auto return Home, Auto take off together. It is under 80$ NOW and has tons of smart capabilities! It is controlled from a smartphone app (Android and iPhone compatible). What do you think about it?

Of course it has brushed motors. For this price it is acceptable, I think. If you prefer brushless motors, you can look at Hubsan X4 AIR H501A which has the same functions and also has better specs like: 1080P camera, Brushless motors, better flight time and better range. I recommend H501A if you have enough budget but if you want to get these functions for as cheap as possible you can get a H507A and have fun with low cost. MY Thoughts:

I think this has very good features like gps waypoint, follow me, 720P wifi camera for a price under 100$ which is very good opportunity if you want to try these smart drone features but you have a low budget. It is not very efficient, flight time is very short compared to hubsan H501a which are generally sold over 200$. Also H507a has brushed motors which are not durable and efficient compared to brushless motors. 720p camera is not good enough for me (you can watch sample fpv videos). I recommend this only if you don't have enough budget for a brushless smart drone like H507a or you don't want to spend high prices.

PROS:
+ Very good price for a smart gps waypoint drone
+ Smart drone features for this price like GPS waypoint, follow me, Auto return etc..
+ Wifi FPV 720P camera (it would be better with 1080p camera of course)


CONS:
- Brushed motors (for this price it is normal, I think)
- short flight time
- No transmitter, controlled from phone only which is not easy for me for manual control mode ( The new RTF Version has a transmitter! problem solved! :) )
- short range because of wifi communication (you can increase range with wifi relay or try a cheper solution like quadcopter101 made in this video)

KingKong 95GT has a Micro F3 6DOF flight controller, 4-in-1 BLHeli – S 10A ESC, 1103 7800KV brushless motors, and a 800TVL camera with 25mW 16CH VTX. Important points why I decided this was closed canopy and propeller guards because I'm a beginner and I will crash many times :) So durability is important for me. There is a bad point about this: it doesn't have low voltage buzzer and no osd so we can't know when battery is low. My Experience

My first flight with this was exciting because it is very fast for me! I tried to keep it in control with small stick movements. After some training I made my flight test video. I didn't flied fast because I don't want to crash it. I used stock settings and I think stock settings are good. This was my first brushless micro FPV quad and I'm not ready for its max speed. Hope I can improve myself soon. I flied it several times inside my home too. (with some small crashes, no problem :) ). I will update my review after some more experience with it. (if I don't forget :) )


In  Conclusion:
I want to say that this may be a bit fast for beginners, but you can control it by changing settings to low rates and using small stick movements. For experts, I can't say anything but you can watch some other more experienced reviewers and decide if this quad is ok for you or not. - To reach micro usb port need to install canopy
- no lights for orientation
- No screwdriver and hex key included in the box, you need to get suitable hex key
- You need to unscrew motors to mount prop guards
- after installing prop guards it doesn't fit in the box
- no landing gear, battery is at the bottom, so it can be damaged with a crash
- No battery holder, battery can slide with a crash
- place of the receiver is not very good

Important points I decided this was closed canopy and propeller guards because I'm a beginner and I will crash many times :) So durability is important for me. There is a bad point about this: it doesn't have low voltage buzzer and no osd so we can't know when battery is low.
